  • APT uses boxes to represent ideas, goals and any other objects/things that may be relevant to your scheme. 

  • The boxes themselves have no particular value. It is what they represent that has real or potential value.

  • If you understand the concept you are describing, your language may be clear and specific.

  • If you don't understand the concept under consideration, it is okay to use broad or approximate language.

  • APT has a systematic procedure to translate vague and general concepts into clear specifics.
